For more than 25 years, La Terraza Guest House B&B has been the leading boutique bed and breakfast in Grecia, Costa Rica — a tranquil haven where comfort, nature, and heartfelt connection meet beneath tropical skies.
Rooted in family tradition and guided by love, La Terraza has become a landmark of hospitality, beauty, and belonging.
🌸 Our Story
Our story began with my parents, whose dream was to create more than a place to stay — they wanted a home where travelers could feel welcome, cared for, and embraced.
My father, a proud Vietnam veteran, brought strength and discipline; my mother poured grace into every detail, teaching that true hospitality is both an art and an act of love. Together, they planted the values that still define us today: respect, warmth, and excellence in every guest experience.
From the beginning, I have been a huge part of La Terraza’s journey, blending all of our life experiences to create the beautiful space and trusted reputation guests enjoy today.
After my father’s passing, I stepped forward to continue the legacy — preserving tradition while modernizing La Terraza for a new generation of travelers.
🌎 A Global Family
My husband, Peter, and I have shared nearly 40 years of partnership in life and business. Our time in Germany, the United States, and Costa Rica gives us a global perspective that enriches every welcome.
Peter adds a touch of European sophistication and offers a warm bridge for our German-speaking guests.
My beloved mother, Jeanetta, now in Nairobi, Kenya, continues to inspire our work. Her courage and faith remind us that family transcends borders — and hospitality is love extended to strangers.
